Yesterday I went into a Vodafone store, cause I wanted o be sure that my subscription was indeed 1Gb + 10Gb. It was, good for me, so I can stream the Tour de France. Also looked around for some phones and tablets. Old BBOS devices on display and BB10 was only available as 2 dummy phones, except for two unexpected devices! The iPad Retina and the iPad mini. At first I didn't believe it, but the label next to it clearly indicated BlackBerry OS10. I'm glad Apple understands the power of BB10 on a tablet.

Oh, in case you don't believe me, here's the proof.

I knew the iOS7 lock screen looked like BlackBerry 10, but I didn't think Apple had made the complete switch yet.
    Interesting.

That's the real reason why BB isn't bringing it to the PB! I told you all along that Apple owns BB, and that Heins was hand-picked by Steve Jobs and only looks awkward bc Jobs forced him to wear Job's old prescription glasses!

Silly thing is, I didn't edit anything. This label is a photo I made in the shop. I assume these labels are made for Vodafone - The Netherlands - and then printed locally. You would think that someone would notice this mistake. Unless, it isn't a mistake; how would BlackBerry manage to get BBM on iOS devices otherwise?

BBM will arrive on iOS through an app available on the App Store according to this press release from BBRY:

BBM for iOS and Android to Launch This Summer - Press Releases

If approved by Apple and Google, the BBM app will be available as a free download in the Apple App Store and Google Play store. Additional details about system requirements and availability will be announced closer to the launch.

Thanx, but if they don't approve? Delete iOS and replace by BB10. Perfect combination, anything with BB10 is a perfect combination.

If Apple doesn't approve then there's no BBM app on iOS. As for replacing iOS with BB10, good luck with that.

This has been discussed already, the short of it is, if Apple denied BBM for iOS, all BlackBerry would have to do is issue a press release stating: "Earlier today, we attempted to release our messaging client BBM for iOS, it was denied approval in the app store, don't blame us, blame them. We did nothing wrong, as they allow applications such as WhatsApp, and Kik into their store, but not ours.", and instantly Apple would either face complaints or allow it.
