Does anyone know if the Launch event (In Toronto) will be televised by any of the major news carriers? CTV Newsnet? CBC? Maybe CP24?

I know the Launch event is taking place in the evening (at least I think I read somewhere that it is), so I am just wondering if the common folk like us will be able to watch the event on TV

I doubt it. But most of the time RIM will have a online live stream of these major events.

The main launch event is actually in NYC, and will be streamed live to the other cities involved. Don't get me wrong, RIM reps will be at all the locations, but the actual launch is in NYC.

That being said, I don't think it will be on TV, just online.

I'm getting anxious about the live feed! I am confident there is going to be one (so confident that I took the day off work so I can watch it 7am Local time) but still just waiting for the official announcement of where I can watch it is driving me nuts!!!

To actually answer your question. BNN will have "live coverage from New York throughout the day" So that's what I'm going to be watching, along with internet streams. I havn't seen any other channels, I'm thinking CP24 may possibly check in from time to time, but I don't know that for sure.
