--Readers of TechSuplex, Boy, do we have a treat for you. Someone off the twitterverse posted some images of the soon to be released L-series probably undergoing carrier testing in Nigeria and now we bring them to you.

He does mention a few new details along with the pictures, like a boot time of 8 seconds (Wow right? We have our doubts too) and also the included VPN feature.

    Peep the pictures below. Enjoy.

Update: The Pics have been deleted off twitter.--

---QNX much like the BlackBerry is a Canadian creation. Engineers regard this operating system as the most advanced, most stable, and most secure operating system in the world. It is said to be used by the likes of NASA for various mission critical operations, nuclear factories and stations, high-speed train control systems, and many others. This is RIM's secret weapon and it is future-proof, they are hoping to hit it big with BlackBerry 10.--

Raytheon Solipsys, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Raytheon Company, is an industry leader in the development of integrated Command and Control (C2) Network-Centric solutions for the Domestic and International DoD and Homeland Security. Through proven systems and software engineering practices, built on the invention and application of innovative technologies, we deliver the C2 infrastructure necessary to effectively control security/military forces in any environment. Our reliable solutions assure information superiority, increased shared awareness, deep sensor reach, aircraft control, air defense, disaster management, and time-critical decision making.

Solipsys' staff has received industry-wide recognition in the diverse areas of sensor automation, information synthesis, networking and communications, and visualization. Our expertise is reflected in the success of our products. In use by the Department of Homeland Security, all four United States military services, International DoD, as well as many of our industry partners, our Tactical Display Framework (TDF) Java-certified visualization tool and Multi Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT) software applications have raised the bar of performance for information synthesis and display.

Solipsys has also introduced a suite of software applications that solve the vexing problem of creating an extensible network solution for sharing sensor information among distributed Joint and Coalition forces. An outgrowth of years of experience in the sensor networking field, the Tactical Component Network (TCN) software product suite is poised to revolutionize the manner in which distributed teams coordinate their actions.

-- I really wanted to touch it, too, because it looks so very good. The user experience on BlackBerry 10 is much more modern, crisper and more engaging, than that of Apples iOS and Googles Android. It even feels a little newer than Microsofts Windows Phone 8.

Compared with those phones, the BlackBerry 10 has these things going for it:

Its almost completely gesture-based, and its gestures are so natural that, when you go back to another phone, you find yourself trying to use the same gestures like some .--

--When it launches early next year, BlackBerry 10 will be the newest and quite possibly the most advanced mobile OS. While this is no guarantee that it will ultimately succeed, RIM is at least doing all the right things on the development front. Indeed, the development team has been heard touting the new platform as "integrated, social and beautiful". From what little I've seen of it so far, this is not an idle boast.--

--The joint ventures use a solution in which they control the software, hardware and the enhanced security network from end to end. The enhanced network I'm referring to in Canada is RIM's secure element solution. No surprise here, as RIM's network has been sending compressed and encrypted BBM messages over carrier networks for years. The only difference is that now they will be doing the same for financial machine to machine data. What a great way to add value to the carrier's existing network, as well as providing the joint ventures with a powerful differentiator against less integrated and secure solutions.--

BBin spotted a new Work Drives application for BlackBerry 10 in App World and its a doozie. It allows you to map MULTIPLE network drives to your BlackBerry 10 smartphone and the best part is that they show up as regular drives to the File Manager and Documents to Go apps.

    Features include:

Mapping Network Drives - Manage multiple network drives from your BlackBerry device
File Manager Integration Access documents and manage network folders from the File Manager application
Document Management Create and edit documents using BlackBerry 10 familiar applications like Documents To Go
Attach documents to Email from shared network drives
Save attachments directly from Email to a shared network drive

You can actually check it out now in App World if you have a compatible BB10 device. BlackBerry 10 just keeps on getting better every day!--

I know for a fact that deployment of non-BlackBerry devices on BlackBerry Mobile Fusion is not a "piece of cake" unlike the claim of the interviewee. It has caused no end of frustration for many organizations trying to integrate Google Android and Apple iOS devices into a BlackBerry Environment.

Unless Docs-to-Go improves significantly all the network drives in the universe mean little if you want to get anything productive done. Yeah, I've seen the television advertisements from years ago in which some management types were rushing off to a meeting with a client via taxi and two of them get a call on their BlackBerry smartphones and begin barking orders at the third person to grab the latest version of some spreadsheet off the office server and make a few little changes moments before the taxi stops in front of a skyscraper as the third person emails the updated documents to their client.

--There are variations to this rule when it comes to apps that may intersect. For example, with the calendar, on both sides you can see that you are busy because it is important to know that you have to be somewhere at a certain time but the details shown are only applicable to the side you are on.

Bharwaj points out, "These hybrid apps are specific RIM-built apps that can go across the workspace and the personal for the point of displaying information. Nobody wants two calendars."

And speaking of apps Holleran says that unlike consumer app developers, the enterprise developers are writing client server apps that have to go to the back end. With the Blackberry 10 device going through BES10, "We did the hard work for enterprise app developers and took care of security and connectivity needs. The pipe behind the firewall exists by default once you make that connection."

The RIM app team is working with enterprises in converting BB7 apps and exploring what other apps corporations want for their businesses. RIM is seeking to help with app strategy to work across all of its offerings, and app development for BlackBerry is now easier are more open than in the past.--

--Research In Motion has announced that BlackBerry is teaming up with taxi-ordering app GetTaxi to offer users a free taxi ride this Christmas.

Users of BlackBerry smartphones can now get a 7 black cab credit if they use the GetTaxi app through the BlackBerry App World. To redeem the voucher for your first journey, users will have to enter the code 'BlackBerry' into the 'me' section of the app.

Get Taxi app lets users book a cab via the app using a GPS location system so the taxi can easily reach the customer.

The alliance is the latest feature revealed by Blackberry, who last month launched an updated version of its famed messenger, BBM. The BBM version 7 now offers free voice calls over a Wi-Fi connection.

BlackBerry fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of RIM's new operating system BlackBerry 10, which is set to launch next month, alongside a selection of new smartphones. The company is hoping the new releases will revive its fortunes, as the firm has seen a colossal 90 per cent knocked off its share price in recent years with customers typically switching to Android and iOS handsets.--

--With RIM's market share hurtling south, and some big leadership changes in recent times, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the BlackBerry has been well and truly squashed. Happily – assuming these images from website Tinhte.vn are real – it looks like the BlackBerry London could be the start of a comeback for the smartphone manufactuer.

The BlackBerry London's certainly eye-catching, with a sleek front and textured back panel – it's all very industrial. Gone are the days of the ugly but practical QWERTY keyboard, it would seem.

Taking our spying glass to the images, we can see that the London packs a removable battery and microSD slot for adding storage space, while connectivity comes in microUSB and mini-HDMI flavours. There's also a front-facing camera for video calls. Not a great deal to go on but just look at it and try telling us you don't like it.

BlackBerry 10, RIM's forthcoming operating system, will debut alongside the BlackBerry London smartphone – assuming it keeps the name – in 2013. One for your Christmas list next year, then.

He also said he looks forward to continuing to work with RIM, which has always been a big advocate for his work in the enterprise space.

"If you compare Apple (NSDQ:AAPL) to BlackBerry, for example, Apple is a very closed-off community. It's very hard to get to internal resources," Brandt said. "The RIM team is working with their customers and their partners in the enterprise area, so that's really a big advantage for us." --
