I just though I would share a pic I took today in overcast conditions of a Peacock. The colours are superb and the clarity is irreproachable.

Nice, but I find that the camera is terrible in low light conditions (as in nights..)

Actually, I beg to differ. I've taken some pretty sweet shots at night using Night Mode.

Unfortunately I don't keep many bad pics but usually you see orange lines, grainy spots, and other weird stufff when it's suppose to be pitch black...

Actually here, found one! Notice the grainy spots on the pillars? In the lights?

I love BlackBerry, but don't make excuses, I absolutely hate it when people do that.
If they do something bad, speak up. You're acting like delusional boy/girlfriends who stay with their partner when they're cheating on them in their face. -_-

Would HDR be useful in this case?

Also, you can slide the focal point around with your finger. Try to move it to a neutral gray area of the scene and you will get much better results.

That's a good point, but it's easy to take a cruddy picture in any light with any camera.

Here's another taken at dusk, not in night mode or HDR. Not edited. It's fairly respectable.

Yep, I'm not saying that BB10 takes bad pics, but it definitely doesn't take good low-light pics...

I've actually taken amazing pics with it!

I agree, it does take great daylight pictures, & grainy low-light picture....Though camera phones are usually bad in low light conditions so we can't be too too harsh. We have to compare it's picture quality with other camera phones. There we see that it is one of the better cameras; Though not the best. I hope BlackBerry works on trying to have the best camera phones, because these days most pictures are being taken by cameras.

I would like to see them maybe make a deal with someone like Nikon & put their Expeed chips & CMOS sensor. It doesn't have to be Nikon, it could be Fujitsu or any one who makes digital cameras.
