    As the title says:

BB Switches off and then doesn't turn on unless battery is removed and plugged again.

I have BB 8320. It is about a year and half old. Sometimes like once a week, when I wake up in the morning my BB is switched off and it does not respond to any key. I have to remove the battery and put it in again to restart it. I thought maybe I put it on charging at night so that makes it go off but even if it is not on charge, it does that. This thing is so sporadic that I cannot predict it at all.

Someone told me that my BBs battery is dead and needs a replacement, I did that but still the problem persists. Anyone who has already seen this?

    Thanks a lot.

I think you should really try a new battery. If the problem continues with a
brand new battery then unfortunately it's a hardware problem.

Well if it was happening before and now after the new battery, then yeah,
    hardware problem.
