Most likely they are work issued. They are using them to get reports during this storm.
She definitely has a BB. I have the blackberry bug again and get a little excited seeing someone on tv using BB's.

I'm sure people are using all different types of smartphones to get reports of the hurricane. I've been following it on the weather app on my device for the past few days.
