I can't seem to make my BB messenger play or sound when I get a new message. The profile options say it should be making a sound and vibrating, but whenever I do get a message the only thing that happens is my led blinks. And I just converted my bf over to a BB and we love the messenger... Please help

Sounds to me like your volume option just below where you set it to vib + ring is on mute. Make sure it is not on mute and that should solve your problem.

Also check if you're using the right profile. This happened to me at first.

Are you using a preloaded notifier or is it a downloaded one? Also, make sure that you're saving your profile changes when you exit. You may be defaulting back to the original settings.
