Hi, I have been sent a bb message. I have a blue icon with a small red circle and white cross. I cannot find any icon to open Blackberry messenger. I have updated programme. Still no go. Any ideas?

When you go to options>advanced options>applications does it show on the list of apps? The icon might be hidden.

Try looking in your message inbox. I can't be sure on the bold, but on mine the BBMs will also show up in the inbox. I have mine set to combine all messages and emails into one folder. To do this, in messages folder --> BB Button --> Options

It does show on the apps list. No hidden icons and no message in inbox.

See if you can go to messages>menu>instant message

From your home screen, hit the BB button and open App Switcher. Is the icon there?

Try this also, open up the menu and click the menu button again, and click "show all" .. then try seeing it the BBM icon appears.
