    Hi everyone,

    I just purchased a chromebook and I do not know how I can synch my BB to it. Anyone know how? Thanks in advance.

    I don't have a chromebook; chrome has a linux kernel, so maybe (probably not) barry...
    You can manage your PlayBook with the PlayBook App Manager extension, but that's really not much help for you I suppose.

    Doesn't the chromebook sync everything to the Google cloud? Therefore you should be able to set up your Gmail account on the 9900 to sync calendar contacts and email. Now as to files there's an app for 9810 called cloud explorer for skydrive so if you can access and use files from your chromebook in skydrive that could work. As its Available on 9810 I assume it'll work on 9900.

    yes it is synched with my gmail account, but there is no way i can back up my photos or restore if i have some issues with my BB. Very much unlike how the DM functions.

    With the 9900 you can also back up your settings to the memory card, and you could save those backups on your chromebook.

    There are a couple of workarounds, 1) email photos.from your phone to gmail account 2) if you have a playbook use files and folders to copy from phone to your playbook and gdrive - but I'm guessing if you had a playbook you wouldn't have bought a chromebook.

    I do have the playbook. I bought the chromebook since I need to give my macbook air to my youngest daughter. Thing is I was just trying to see if I can the functionality of the DM on some other type of DM from another OS. Anyway thanks, appreciate it.

    Chrome books are in a closed and totally separate ecosystem, sorry to say they won't get bbdm unless blackberry would make a chrome app for blackberry (that would be boss)
