I would seriously like it if a new BB7 device came out which is similar to the Bold 9900 but a revamped version. Do you guys think a new BB7 device is possible in 2014?

I think not. Why not trying the new OS mate? ;-) With latest update coming (10.2.1) it brings back almost everything (99%) of what you loved on OS7, plus it is a new OS with a lot to offer..

Yeah i had the Q10 before but i like the simplicity of OS7 even more and not being purely dependent on a touch screen, hate touchscreen nowadays

Haha, yup, some people are not going to give up that trackpad as well.

By this point, you'd think that it more likely that a bb10 including a trackpad to appease those whining about that would be more likely than them releasing a new bb7 device to update the 9900, their java development team is probably very small by this time and its not like with the 9720 where it would be addressing a market that bb10 couldn't reach at the time either.

The 9720 is a good device but they should done a premium BB7 device aswell, more premium than the bold 9900 but similar to it, woulda been the perfect end for BB7

Absolutely wrong, a premium BB7 device offers them no benefits in their intended purpose of transitioning people over to BB10 so it would have been a terrible idea at the time and even now it would not be as compelling an option as spending the time to hack trackpad support into a bb10 device to appease those holding onto BB7 devices.

Time to leave BBOS7 behind. BlackBerry have taken this operating system as far as possible.

Time to push forward with BB10.
