Can i activate a regular GPRS/EDGE data plan without BIS?
I am a frequent traveler and need to surf the internet outside my country.
Depends on your carrier. You just wont have access to any BIS function like push email and any app that requires BIS wont work. And check the pricing to see if its worth it, if its like $10 less i would just get a blackberry data plan. But yeah, its possible as long as your carrier allows it and has regular data plans.
