Hi, I've looked around the site, and can't find an answer.
I've got a Tour, had it since November. It will connect via bluetooth to my earpiece no problem. But when I try to connect to other phones it doesn't work.
Here are the steps I've gone through:
1) Find the other phone. Both phones will find each other. I enter the code 0000 in both phones says all is fine.
2) Try to transfer file, "Connection failed" comes up on the other phone and on my phone it failes. It says A/V Remote Control the a red x
3) I've disabled the ecryption under the manage device area.
4) Tried a battery pull.
5) I have the latest OS on the Verizon network.
6) I've attempted not to pull my hair out at every turn.
This happens with other blackberrys, LG enV, on my same network, with phones on other networks.
As far as BB to BB, you need to be sure to use "Send Using Bluetooth" on your device and the other BB needs to hit "Receive Using Bluetooth" (Prior to you hitting Send Using Bluetooth)
