Someone told me at the bar the other night that the 9800 Torch
is soon to be replaced by an even more awesome BB
called the 9900 Flame Thrower. It will have HD camera
and video as well as everything and more the IPhone 4 has.
Has anyone seen or read details on this subject ???
I find it difficult to believe they're ready to roll out a Torch replacement anytime soon. There are a lot of other devices in need of a significant refresh or replacement first.
at was at a bar too, and after a few drinks i heard the same thing... but it wasn't the flame thrower it was called lightning rod, lol OH wait i think that was Verizon LTE commercial, i think i gotta stop drinking.

haha Flamethrower? Who the **** would name a phone that? If you're going to make something up at least make it sound more legit than "Oh I was in a bar..." hahaha.
IMO the next gen BB will beat knowning smartphones out there by specs (like Playbook does with tabletts now).
Keep dreaming. And yeah it's easy to "beat" the specs when you come out months to a year afterwards. Duh. What happens when Apple releases the next iPad after the playbook and then more Android tablet next year. I'm sure they will make the playbook's specs look outdated. That happens when you enter late.
i heard in the bar the other night that bic is starting up as a new cell provider and was looking for a bb to start it off... hmmm maybe it will b the flamethrower!
