I've heard rumors of an 8900 and a 8220 coming to Cincinnati Bell in Feb. from talking to service reps and reading online, but nothing actually posted yet. That is until now. In a rebate from Cincinnati Bell they have the 8900 and 8220 listed with all of the other models the carry. Too good to be true we'll have to wait and find out.

    Check the link htt://cincinnatibell.com/shared_content/pdf/wireless/rebates/holiday_100_smartphone.pdf

Sorry forgot the p in http be sure to add it

Yeah I sincerely doubt that Cincinnati Bell will get these anytime soon, and if they do, they're going to price jack the **** out of it, just like all their other phones...

I hear ya' phoneking re: pricing... but I have spoken to folks in affinity group at CBW who when pressed admitted that curve 8900 and pearl 8220 are coming out ~27 feb 09... sounds like a couple week slip from original plan? I am stuck with CBW so I am happy... if I had my druthers would probably go Verizon

In a way it wouldn't surprise me on CBW getting these phones. Lately they have been getting more phones that are in T-Mobile's lineup... (i.e. Nokia 6263, RAZR 2, etc.)

Lol! Well their 8100 pearl - the original - is still about 100$, after rebates.

Actually all there phones are free currently. I think this is because they are hinting that they are getting new ones.

The 8900 on CB has been pushed back a couple of times. Last I heard, 4/1 will be the release date. Some problems with testing.

I"ll believe it when I see it

So I've bought a blackberry 8900 from Cincinnati Bell a week ago today for $300 up front with a $100 mail in rebate. So $200 with no contracts whatsoever, it is also unbranded. It's freaking awesome. It's not 3G but the wi-fi makes up for it.

It may be unbranded, but good luck getting it unlocked.
