I'm sorry, but I don't think there's any comparison, Android 2.0 seems so much more advanced. I've had my BB for over two years now and it has truly fallen behind. People want more than just messaging, which I admit BB does very well.

I wish BB would create something more than just simple tweaks...

I'm with you on that one buddy.

Here is the link to the official Android website, where there are some interesting, and informative videos on the Android OS:

    Android | Official Website

Keep in mind the videos talk about and show Android OS 1.6, the Motorola Droid is going to be running Android 2.0 (Eclair) at release.

I love my storm and the blackberry platform but Android is by far a superior OS. Which is the reason why even tho I dont have to pay for my storm 2 upgrade i am gonna hold off on getting it until the droid is released.

WOW. My first time checking out the droid and it looks good. I need to keep my eyes open and check this out once it launches. I'm still such a stubborn bb only user though

I thought Motorola took themselves out of the cell phone business all together?

Moto is down, but not out. Hopefully, the Droid and Calgary brings them much needed revenue/success.

If motorolas past history is anything to go by then it will be ropey at best! The bberry os is one robust platform in comparison to what nokia can provide. Granted the android os is a good platform I just think it wouldn't take much for the bberry os to be the same.

this would be very hard in my opinion seeing as its the greeks versus the present day americans in terms of OS style and consumer attractiveness. for RIM to compete with an andriod os it would need to go through a complete overhaul of its system.

I'm sure Moto knows how much is riding on their current/soon to be released line-up.
