I just did a battery pull on my BlackBerry Pearl, left it out for a minute or two, put it back in, then watched as a red light flashed over and over with nothing else happening...

The battery is 80% full, I tried plugging it in and plugging it in without a battery, all with the same result.

    Help please?

Hey, don't worry, leaving the battery out again for 10 minutes seemed to somehow fix it

Lesson learned: when battery pulls break your phone, do another battery pull

Poor berry. It'll survive. Another pull after a minute does it.

I think this happens when the battery is reinserted and it does a double contact before being seated. Kinda confuses the poor berry.

Lol, I've had that happen too.
With a BlackBerry, battery pulls even fix battery pulls.
