    I was quite Happy with my Battery life of the Q10 & was pleasantly surprised..as it used to last all day with 20% to go...
    However after Upgrading to OS 10.1.0.4181 my batter life has gone down by half !
    My 4 pm its down to 20% with the SAME usage !!
    Also the phn heats up more no & hangs.. which it never used to before i upgraded my os

    EVEN TRIED USING THE SPARE BATTERY I GOT wITH MY PORTABLE CHARGER..
    NO DIFFERENCE !

    wHAT DO I DO & HO DO I IMPROVE MT Q10 BATTERY LIFE ??

    Moved to Q10 forum.

    Go into your resource monitor under settings and check to see what is eating up all of your battery. My guess is the system is still "settling" after the upgrade. Can take a couple of days.

    How long have you been on the updated OS?? My handsets typically take a couple of days to settle with battery, then the Odd occasion would go a Little mental but otherwise good!

    Takes a couple of days to settle, lots going on in the background. My Z10 was getting hot when I first did the update but it's perfectly fine now. Be even better with 10.2 when it's available : )

    Let the OS settle. It might take a few days to get back to normal.

    That setting is only included in 10.2; he clearly states he updated to 10.1.0.4181.
