i'm not sure where to ask this question... i don't post on here a lot!
    but here it goes...

i have two best friends with blackberry world editions and they BOTH have had to get their phones repaired or replaced because they simply stopped charging! i plan to get a blackberry in the next few months and i am kinda scared right now!

is this super common? i have had sooo many problems with my iphone and i hoped to get a blackberry and finally have a phone that just works like its supposed to!

You want a phone that delivers better than advertised? The Bold is it. I haven't had any problems with the battery life, hardware or software. From what I've heard from similar threads, poor battery life or battery failure isn't common.

Both my 8820 and Pearl have been super reliable, no problems charging or otherwise. It's probably just a strange coincidence, you'll be ok.
