I got an 8220 on Friday. Since then I had charged it a couple of times...never letting the battery completely die, and it took under an hour even with only 1 bar left. Now today I forgot the battery was almost dead and it was completely dead and the phone was obviously off when I went to check it. So, i plugged it in to charge and nothing is going on...I left it in for an hour and checked and still couldn't turn it on, so then I left it charging for a couple hours while I went to class, and still nothing. Any idea what's wrong??
Sounds like a defective or dying battery. If you are still under
warranty take it to your carrier store and have it replaced and
see if that works. If not, the phone may have a circuitry issue in
which case you will need a new phone (also under warranty exchange).
