BES is blackberry enterprise server. Its for the business person so that their phone can be connected to the corporate server at their office so their email can come thru. The BES costs more, i know it is $45 a month with verizon. The BIS or blackberry internet service is what the consumer uses. It allows the internet, 10 email accounts and lets you use bbm. I dont have a curve but i dont think that a cdma curve has the SIM card slot in it, can anyone with a curve confirm this?

The Curve can be either GSM or CDMA, but there is currently no provision to use both systems on one.
