I have heard that once a person buys a bb and uses it for 1 month then he can't shift to any other mobile, and many have tried shifting but get back to BB in week.

I am not sure about that. However, I could never use a regular phone again.

I believe it 100%. I couldn't imagine myself with anything but a blackberry... Tried a blueberry once, but it got smushed in my pocket and made a mess.

I couldn't imagine life with it! Hahaha, I do have MAJOR trouble trying to text on a normal phone. Lol. We have a Razr as the "house phone" and it takes me 10 times as long to operate it than my bb.

Essentially this is one of the more ridiculous things BlackBerry
users say and there are 296 people in the city I work for that can
attest to that. Not one of them wants their old BlackBerrys back.

To me it's not about shifting back from a Blackberry to a regular phone. It's about not having a smartphone at all and instead a regular phone.

I definitely couldn't go back to a 'regular phone' again.

Agreed. I tried using a friends Razr this weekend and after about 10 minutes
with that thing I wanted to shoot it.

Most us don't have the habit of waiting but with BB one can wait for quite a long time.

I crashed my blackberry last week and it took 4 days before my new one got here. I used my friends envy as a replacement and I felt lost!

I'll have to say, POE hit it on the head here. BB won't forever be the "be all end all" of smartphones (I'll pause as all off you finish gasping... Ok), especially if RIM continues to churn out the same old stuff while other innovate. Could I live without a BB and return to a 'dumb' phone? Sure, if I had to. Good thing I don't have to, though.
