Hello all!

While giving my kiddos a bath the other night, my bberry dropped out of my pocket and into the tub. (This was on Thursday - Today is Monday)... I immediately popped the battery and cards, pulled out the shop-vac & tried to suck out as much water as I could, and then put it in a bag of rice overnight.

I then let it dry for a couple more days, and it finally turned on. Yippee!!!

I even got emails when it happened, and jumped onto the web.

HOWEVER, the data connection was very short-lived.

The phone now works just fine. There are no obvious functionality issues, except for the fact that it does not seem to want to allow me to get a data connection AT ALL.

I get 5 bars with 1x (phone only).

I've tried everything I can think of. This may be a dumb question, but how could water damage just affect just my data functionality but allow the rest of the device to function just fine?
