Hello there,

Im about to get myself a new BlackBerry, but im unsure whether to get the z10, z30 or the q10. How does the z30 go with one handed use? I got about average hands i'd say. From what i can see they all take pretty good pictures. Also the q10 has a big advantage with the keyboard but how about android apps on the square screen? I'm leaning towards the z30 or q10 mostly because of their better batteries .

Z30 is one hell of a phone. I upgraded last week after much trepidation (I love my Z10) and I'm thrilled.

One handed use is fine, battery life is incredible.

If you're worried about lots of Android apps I'm betting you're going to be a lot happier with a Z30. Really think about the screen space thing. If you were like me and felt it were worth the trade of screen real estate in exchange for a real keyboard, the Q is the choice, but have you visualized any specific apps you know you really want to use on the smaller screen of the Q? I can say the keyboard on it absolutely great.

Though I'm currently typing this using the Z10, I'd say you go for the Z30. All these praises that I've been reading about the battery will make you happy. Oh and the speakers too.

Reading the z10 forum i think i can rule that one out. I need to be able to only charge my phone at night.

I employ smart management, like keeping off services I don't need, keeping my brightness all the way down (I think it's just fine), manual syncing of certain things and so on. I don't use bluetooth ear pieces and the like. I've never tried to count how many hours between charges but I've not always had to charge it every day at bedtime, sometimes it's closer to two days for me (I work midnights so my sense of time is skewed a bit.) I recently reactivated my old Bold 9930 so I'm not rolling with my Q just now. The battery in the Q is 2100mah, so it's not a slouch

Get yhe Z30. It is just a bit bigger than the Z10. Battery life is amazing, The antenna reception is awesome,and the overall look is beautiful.

Z30 hands down. I love my Z10 but if you're getting it now, you may as well go for their best offering.

The Q10 is nice, I do miss the physical keys sometimes but the Z30, even with the 720p screen is just an all around solid phone. The Z10 you compromise on battery life and how you have to use it, the Q10 you give up the apps and some functionality(the keyboard gestures for one). The Z30 gives you everything except the clicky feel of the keys.

I have the Q10 and its just well really nice, the battery is very good and can stand a day easily. I am not a big fan for android apps on my BlackBerry since I have my LG Gpad, I downloaded Flipboard and it wasn't that nice on a squared screen, and histogram I'll never get to the whole picture but u have a better granny native client that's real smooth and fast. Other than that it depends on your preference, keyboard communication procketability go for the Q10, if you want media etc and better android apps screen compatibility then Z10 or Z30 but I noticed the 30 is superior in so much aspects especially battery. So it's ur call in here

If you're looking for size, the z30 is yours. If you're looking for a keyboard the Q10 is yours but you're gonna lose some app support because of the screen size.
And finally if you're looking for a decent sized screen and a cheap price with a great hardware then the z10 is gonna fit you.

Even though I carry a Z10, and the wife carries a Q10, I would say go for the Z30.
A couple of friends and coworkers have one. The all rave about the speed and the longevity of the battery. The large screen makes a world of difference as well.

Z30 no doubt. I had z10 and had to charge it 2 to 3 times a day. The 30 I take off the charger in the morning and don't put it back on till I go to bed. As for the one handed deal I have average hands and the top of the screen is a little tough to do ex specially on the far top corner. However I wouldn't give it up and go back. To many things to mention how great this phone is.

I own a Z10 but I completely recommend a the Z30 after using my brothers. I'm sure you will be looking at the differences between the Q and Z30 in the coming days. I also have average hands and find the Z30 fine in regards to one handed use. Good luck out there.

I owned a Z10 because the retailer where I lived would never get the z30.
