It's really a matter of perspective. When you consider that thousands of folks that are happy with their choices don't usually post and we get a
handful of somewhat unhappy people that voice their feelings ...

That puts things more into perspective. There's no wrong or right here, just a matter of preference.

Preference for what? Based on CB posters, I get no sense that BB10 can be rejuvenated or that could or should be more BB10 devices.

I came back to BlackBerry 10 after 6 months using Android. Previously I used a BlackBerry Z10 for more than 3 years. Now using a passport.

But your needs must be very limited compared with the average user. Glad that the BB10 is still meeting your needs though. I finally retired my Z10 . It was only being used on WIFI.

I have Apple, Android and BB10. Yes, I liked BB10 because of the gesture based format but now that OS is at EOL . To me, an OS is not much more than a way to launch apps. Android allows for more customization but iOS has updates and seems more rock solid.

No assumptions needed. Just look on Kijiji. The demand is not there. Yes , I am sure that many here still like their phones but there are no facts that support a resurgence of popularity.

Not really sure if "a lot" have came back, but either way, BlackBerry 10 is a good operating system. Of course, that's if you don't need all the big apps.

I came back, but mostly because I grew tired of the snarling beast of data use, media consumption, ads and mess of file structure that is android.

I just needed a phone, email and messaging, I don't want to waste time on a phone any more than I have to, despite what's popular now.

But I am in the extreme minority here.

Define lots, maybe 20-30 people posting on a BlackBerry fan site. Or did you hear this from someone else. I have also read a lot of posts from people happy with their BlackBerry Android purchase.

I have also wondered how many individuals bought BB10 phones. If this site is typical of BB10 users, most users own 3 to 4 BB10 phones.

If you only base your opinions on CB posters... that alone sez your personal operating system may be faulty.

I'm sure "Back To The FUture Has something (way back in your ...a , well you know) to do with back to BB10. I figure you having bought the Priv, The first and second DTEK (was there a third) if so, you bought that too and now have a Keyone all in the time it took for a "successful Keyone launch... Doesn't say you were satisfied and if not for your wife getting you into rehab, well, let's just say, getting you hooked on Woolite is a lot cheaper than losing the house.

To be sure.. we first have to define "a lot" "Lot" a plot of land assigned for sale or for a particular use.
There's also one about a certain amount of people, but other than "many" we don't know a lot more than we did at the beginning.
So, Let's define "Many." It's more than a few and less than several.
So, there you have it. That should at least answer one person's question ( probably at the corner market when asking his wife, "How many of those little bottles did you say to get!)"

Well, no one else thought to figure it out!!

It all really depends on one's usage of their mobile device. If your primary functions are work based with email, messaging and calls any BlackBerry 10 device still works exceedingly well for this purpose. They still tell you the weather if one can't look out a window or does not watch the news at some point in a day. The calendar and file manager are excellent. The browser still works fine for my needs (I have not had any issues that I have read others had with opening a Web page.) And depending on keyboard preference (Classic, Passport, 9900 for OS7 folks) some really are still unmatched. (For me the Classic takes the prize of most favored PKB ever) I own a good sized business and to this day I can use my BlackBerry 10 devices (even a 2013 Z10) to help manage when away from my desk. If I need some heavy lifting (that no mobile hand set is really capable of due to size) I can hot spot to my newer, slick Acer Swift 3 laptop (great, reasonable laptop- like a MacBook but a 1/3 of the price) and hammer things out. I did pick up a couple DTEK50's and they were just meh. I then picked up some S7 Edge's and threw on the HUB subscription and BlackBerry VKB. Honestly the app thing to me is a serious snow job. Shoot just give me a ripping browser and well developed Web pages and I (and most) am golden. No more constant data sapping "play store updates" let them be server side and the most current the moment I go to the site. Keep It Simple Stupid... The app thing, to me, is truly overblown. And the grass is not always greener as it appears some are determining based on their needs.

I haven't had to stray away from BB10. Still rockin' my cherished, faithful Z30 that is so silky and utterly reliable. It handles all the email and web demands, and I also run the Zeuss browser for the few times when the built-in browser can begin to struggle a bit. Plus a handful of Android apps, which have all survived the upgrade to 10.3.3 . Imho TCL need to up their game, hardware-wise, in order to match the intended capabilities/aspirations of BlackBerry-baked Android

    Agreed... from this Qdevice.

The Keyone I use now has a way faster browser and they did a great job on the keyboard but... it still isn't quite the same...
