My company buys and resells ~1000 BB a month. We are looking for a way to automate our data wiping procedure. Any thoughts on how data erasure could be applied to multiple units at once while limiting our manual procedure? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I dont believe so.. it actually takes longer to add to a BES and send the wipe command than if you were to just issue the wipe command on the device itself.
Maybe try a large high powered magnet? lol.. (JK!)
Application Loader is the tool that is used for the update, but it only works on one device at a time and the procedure is time consuming.
I am sure BlackBerry has more sophisticated software to do the job, I can't imagine they would be doing each one individually on an production line basis.
