I recently made the switch to ATT U-Verse cable and internet service. It is cheaper than my previous cable provider with more channels. The internet is faster and the router has wireless built in. It is running on fiber optic lines they installed in my neighborhood. However, now I cannot stay on UMA when at home. I understand that ATT phones do not support UMA. Is this the same for the wireless router? I am not sure if I am even connecting to the wi-fi network. It seems to be constantly switching from UMA to edge with wi-fi and then without wi-fi. I have a T-Mobile 9700 and do not have any problems connecting and staying on UMA at work. I have tried for several days to adjust my phone and router settings but am still having these issues.
