Okay, I know I can get it from various sources, but when (and if) AT&T releases their OFFICIAL 4.5, how will they let folks know?

Just an email to the BB or registered email, a major press release, or will they just quietly update the software page and let it bleed out?



Have the 8310 since July so I haven't been through any major OS releases before. Inquiring minds want to know!

They won't likely announce it, you will just have to check here or on AT&Ts download site for the latest. Why wait for AT&T to release it? Just get the latest release that's out there and install it. 4.5.0.55 is the latest carrier release.

I have .69 and it seems to be better then .55 is right now for me.

I think it has the highest chance of being the one ATT uses in the end!

i do believe .77 has been out for a few weeks now.
i also have .69 on my 8310. only have one issue with it - when i do a battery pull the voice calls keep dropping until i do a memory clean, then the phone works perfectly.

last i heard .84 was to be the official TMobile release - perhaps ATT will follow suit

if you need to have it the minute it comes out, you'll make sure to be near a computer or anything else that will allow you to find out.
