    has left the building?

I happen to like the Storm, and prefer its size and features to a keyboard/half screen BB. From the release, it appears RIM is going to steer the Storm product to the new Torch, rather than create further 'Storm' developments.

Is that the common thinking for now, or are there suggestions that S3 is waiting in the wings?

Welcome to 2010. This is old news that Storm 3 was killed off by the carriers & the Torch 9850/9860 will replace it.

The Storm name has bad connotations for all involved I suppose. The new all touch Torch is perhaps what it should have been. Ie. No sure click, and fast.

I wouldn't touch anything from RIM with the "Storm" brand with a ten-foot pole. Ditching this name will help in marketing the 9860 which admittedly is leaps and bounds beyond what the Storm series had been.

I like my S2, although if the truth be told I'm tired of the clicking. And would welcome a non-click model.

Although I'm really hating the keypad on the ipad 2, so I'm not really sure what to do lol.

    Decisions, decisions.
