I was looking at Crackberry's review of Ascendo's Datavault and became intrigued but was stopped in my tracks when I went to Crackberry's download site and it said this product is not compatible with 8130 Pearl. Is this really true, can anyone confirm this?

I was just as dumbfounded when I saw that the Curve wasn't compatible. What gives? Curve and Pearl not compatible. Is this really supposed to be for Blackberry?

The 8800 series is also not compatible. I looked at downloading for my 8830 and got the same message. Very odd that the software makes the front page, but isn't available for any of the new BBs.

I wonder if this is just erroneous information generated from Crackberry's compatibility tool. Judging from reviews on Ascendo's site, Datavault is indeed compatible with the Curve and Pearl, as long as a current OS is installed.

I'm running it with DataVault 4.36 with 4.2.2.166 on my AT&T Curve

I installed it today and it works fine with my 8310. Haven't had a chance to play around with it much yet.

So the problem is with Crackberry's current software listing and verification tool. It looks like it should work on the current BB offerings.
