Appworld not installing apps using proxy for internet access, what can I do?

I access the internet using my college's Wi-fi which has a proxy. I am able to open appworld and browse apps but on trying to install, nothing happens (not even an error message).
Other websites, apps are working fine.

Everything works fine if I shift to mobile data or another Wi-fi without proxy.
