    Apple iOS 7 Versus BlackBerry 10.2 - N4BB

There are ideas in use on BlackBerry 10 that are leagues ahead innovation-wise. While iOS7 feels like another chapter in a slowing story, dressed to impress but somehow out of touch with the rate that it will be leapfrogged in the coming years. Apple needs to seriously assess its platform as we begin to move into deeper connections between our phones and other smart devices. User experience is so much more than what you see, but how you end up having to interact with it. UX is leagues ahead on BB10 vs iOS7.

I think Blackberry 10 can move to the Windows 8 metro look. Apple did it and so did Chrome

I don't like windows phones but atleast it looks more professional now then iOS7. Maybe it's just me but I would jailbreak the iPhone in a second to get rid of those crayola bright colors and interface

The big difference between ios 7 and BlackBerry 10.2 is that ios will show up in a timely fashion. BlackBerry 10.2 will show up after every ones lost interest or the day after BlackBerry goes broke.

For me I don't like Ios because of the simple candy like colors and the simple in and out interface.

The biggest difference between iOS7 and Blackberry 10.2?

Blackberry 10 is a complete ripoff of WebOS, whereas iOS7 is a ripoff of Android and MIUI with touches of WP8...

Not really. BB10 is a dead product in most people eyes. And pretty obscure. That's why you don't see neither Apple nor Android sites pick it up for a comparison. You don't see many "iOS vs. WebOS" or "Android vs. Bada" comparisons either.

"Apple needs to seriously assess its platform". I thought that line was funny and a bit ironic. Maybe Blackberry and Apple can help each other out and bear fruit from the same tree.

iOS 7 looks very Playbook OS-like to me from a multi-tasking standpoint. Playbook-like OS coupled with the Apple app ecosystem, and they've got a winner.

Although as far as I'm concerned, Steve Jobs is dead, and Apple's innovations went with him. They will find it increasingly difficult to produce fresh ideas without a visionary like him.

Actually BlackBerry is a dead product in most people eyes. Most people have never even laid eyes on BB10 or even bothered to touch them because of the perception BlackBerry products have.

Nope. I just try to keep it real. If what I said above isn't accurate then by all
means you can flame me. I've used Blackberry since 2004 and will continue to be critical of them until they turn the ship around. I'm just not a super fanboy like you and that's fine, but don't chastise me for giving opinion.

I don't get why people say IOS is boring. Live tiles and a hub for communication really isn't all that exciting.

    IOS works, end of story.

I think that iOS7 was needed. Playbook/Webos style way of dealing with apps etc. Nothing wrong with iOS per se, just got a little stale.
