My wife and I bought the same blackberry Torch 9810 phones. She appears to get notifications that APPS in Appworld have updates for them. She gets the red circle with the asterix inside.

My phone does not !!!

Is there a setting that my wires phone has that mine doesn't

Please advise if anyone knows

I don't believe notifications are "pushed" to all phones at once. If you go to Appworld on your phone when she gets a notification, do you see the update? If so, you might want to hold off on the update for awhile and see if you get your own notification.

OK. Ill be patient but this is the 2nd time its happened. Ill see what happens next time

I've been having this same issue. Now I just try and open App World every once in a while to see if there are any updates. Even when I do that the notification doesn't come until long after I close App World.
