    I have a Z30...great phone btw...in Canada on the Bell network...BUT lately when I try to install an update that is available, I see "downloading ", "installing" then rather than "open" I see "update " again. Anyone else experience this?

    Just do a hard reset by holding the volume up and down buttons until you see the blue loading circle,

    Thanks for the response but that didn't make a difference. Will keep trying other things. When in settings I do see the version of the app I'm updating is current, so even though I continue to see "update" it appears the update did occur. Will check other apps to see the "before" version, perform the update, then check the version again. Thanks again

    So, I updated an app...this time I see "open"...AND the other two apps i was updating have disappeared from the list of apps to be updated...strange. Bottom line...apps appear to be updating even though "open"does not display. Will check settings to confirm update occurred...go figure...lol
