I've downloaded over fifty apk,s only two worked. I installed the new os leak and it converts well but when I open it it just flashes and goes back to home screen. Help me please

First thing is try a hard reset of your phone. Hold in both volume buttons until it reboots.

Iv tried loads the only ones that worked was subway surfers and a panoramic app I've used the amazon 1st mobile and other app stores but hardly any seem to work. They install through the handset ok but won't play

I've only loaded 8-10, but only one didn't work. I think you either need to reload the android runtime, or maybe redo the entire installation.

I'm thinking it's to due with the runtime, I would hard reset the device and side load the unlocked runtime

So any luck finding the unlocked runtime bar? I'm having the exact same problem, apps closing quickly on 10.2.1.1055, specifically can't get the Onkyo remote app to open.

Unlocked runtime bar is in BlackBerry 10 hub under the Leaked OS thread. I think it's title is Berry leaks presents Unlocked Android Runtime.

I tried over 20 apps from amazon app store, not one worked, my phone was blazing hot, battery draining at 25% an hour, OS was slow as dirt. I removed Amazon app store and installed the .apk files themselves from the OS, every single app works now, no heat issues...

I've had a very similar experience with the Amazon App Store! Just used the browser to find and install apks and no problems at all! Use an appstore then there's going to be problems (n)

Why have you side loaded a runtime? The runtime on the leaked OS is the only one that allows .apk install.

Why does he need to get a different run time when the one included in 1055 is unlocked? Seriously guys :P

Give it a reboot, the reason I'm saying this is because I was having (other) difficulties with Android apks and after 5 reboots the problem was solved. Try deleting and reinstalling, loads of reboots and battery pulls :P xD

Btw: Personally I don't use any of those Android app stores and I just bookmarked two SkyDrive links that have working APK's
