I've had my curve for 7 months with AOL instant messenger for 6 and yesterday i tried to log in and it says "Password or Screen name invalad"

They are both correct, yet i cannot log in and i have important connects on there!!

Help from anyone please!!

Are you sure you're typing in the password right? I mean, you typed invalid as invalad, so you never know.

Try it again and eventually it'll come through correct.

But anyway, I have Sprint and my curve works fine with AIM, I can log in fine. Not sure what's the problem.

No you don't... I heave a pearl 8100 and I have the latest OS and my AIM says the same thing... Does not meet system reuirements...

The only thing that I can attribute that with is that I have an unlocked AT&T pearl on a T-mo network... So it's not compatible.

Is your curve ulocked?! If not then IDK...

Try to use the following. I know it has AT&T service books, but it also contains the aim service books.

You can resend your T-mobile service books after.

You may need to delete it and reinstall. Also you might see if you can log in on your computer and get your contact info. You can at least see if you are having a password problem.

Also, check your auto-text list. I typed in my username wrong once and it stored it in auto-text so everytime I tried to type in my real username, it used the incorrect name in auto-text.

I'm having the exact same problem. I just got my BB last week and every time I try to log-in, it says "Password or Screen name invalid" but I know I'm entering both correctly. Did you ever get it to work or can anyone please help me?

I'd see if you can log on from a computer. Also, BB's tend to capitalize the 1st letter sometimes so maybe your password is not matching up.

No luck!! Went online to get help and damn if they aint ask me for some pet name that i can't remember (for real) yet i know my screen name and password are correct!!

Still got yahoo, but some of my connects only got aol!!
