I'm thinking about buying a new Belkin N+ wireless router. I'm curious if anyone is using this router and if they have had any issues with UMA and their BB?

My bold will not connect to my belkin. Clueless on how to fix it.

Unfortunately i don't have UMA (i'm with ATT), so i can't comment on that one. But, my BB works fine with my belkin router. I believe my belkin is the Infinity wireless router.
I have a Belkin router and can connect to it. I have tried different security settings on the router, and it seems that the higher security i try and use with it, the less connectivity success i get. In other words, if it's an open network then the bold connects very quick and easy.
I tried it with the automatic AAOS system...and wouldn't connect. Then, on WPA Personal and the bold had troubles connecting. It would recognize the router, and say it was connected but my bold couldn't process the security code (at least that's what it seemed like).
I currently have it "secured" using WEP. And, it seems for some reason the smaller the key, the easier it connects.
Are you using an open connection garment? I could try and walk you thru how i set mine up...might help.
Belkin makes a range of routers, including the newer 802.11n router.
BlackBerry is compatable with 802.11b/g, but not n. Attempting to connect will cause your BlackBerry to continously restart itself.

Ooops...my bad everyone. I thought it was the Belkin that i had, but just realized that it's the Buffalo router that i have that my BB Bold is setup with.
Sorry 'bout that!
First, I should ammend my comments. It would connect, but the wifi symbol would stay gray 50% of the time. I bought a linksy's and it works perfect. Conncects in five seconds and stays connected. to bad it cost me another 80 bucks. Thanks for the advice though.
I have a bold that is connected to a Draytek wireless n router, the older versions of the OS will not work with n but i understand that from 4.5 onwards it should work.
Reed McLay is right though if you try to connect with an incompatible OS the phone just keeps restarting
