I want the phone to sound every time i recieve a message. can anyone help me?
My phone is a curve 8300.

Go to options then profiles. Select loud or you can customize it. Press q from the home screen, this sets the loud profile.

Profiles > Advanced > select the profile you want to use > select the type of message you're talking about (SMS, email, etc) > make sure Out of Holster is set to Tone or Vibrate + Tone > make sure volume is on anything but Mute > don't forget to choose a tone you like...
