Anyone getting email messages from RIM?
- A few times a day I receive an email message from RIM
([email protected]) with the following message:
This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server.
Is anyone else getting these email messages? How do I stop them?10-04-09 06:30 PMLike 0 - One of my friends got a few of them on his 9000 and I've gotten some on my 8310. I have no idea what they are, but we always just deleted them. Sorry I couldn't be any help, I'm sure someone will pop in with what they are... I'm curious as to what they are too!

Some provider, like Pair.com, will send this type of message when you have IMAP setup on one system and then another system tries to access the email with POP3 download/delete a system system file from the email server.
Do you have such setup? You use IMAP at home and POP3 for BB.10-04-09 06:38 PMLike 0 - Did you install Desktop Manager on a non-work PC (more specifically a PC that doesnt have your corporate email set up on)? If so did you select the Enterprise option?
If you install DM on a PC that isn't connected to your work email system you will get these emails. The solution is to uninstall DM and re-install with the Personal email option. This won't effect your work emails coming to your device if you are on BES.10-04-09 07:03 PMLike 0
