I just got a new job. I was a bit worried in the interview when he said they didn't allow IM but a lot of people use their phones so it was no biggie. After that I knew I needed a device that was good at IM and email. I only care to IM to keep in touch with my wife so I don't feel alone, not to fool around
Anyone else out there like me?

At my company everything is closely monitored. Its so bad a screenshot of every PC is taken every 30 seconds. Everyone in the IT department has a blackberry for just this reason.

Jeez. Where I work they actually gave us a chat client lol. Good to know bb came to the rescue!

Work and play on my bb, but I'm thinking bout taking my work stuff off this phone. Work was kinda restrictive with using IM clients but allowed google email to come up so we'd just use google talk on the browser. Now they've finally allowed gtalk to b installed on every store pc ( unofficially ) and everybody has either a bb or a palm pre so they're constantly on gtalk : ) . <-- sprint store

no IM for me at work except for the internal IM we have but it's just strictly for work. We can't communicate outside. Phones are allowed though so my berry is my baby..
We have a strict no phone policy at work. Too many people wasting time and not doing enough work. My BB remains with me at all times.... I do get a little leeway.

I find that difficult to believe considering the amount of drive space this would take. Being in IT there are many more ways to restrict IM use other than this resource intensive method.
