When iOS7 was released virtually all newspapers and news stations carried front page or front line articles on it.
I habitually read Toronto Star and National Post numerous times throughout the day, and not one has yet made mention of the BB10.2.1 update. Disappointed that Canadian content on an iconic Canadian company is so sorely lacking.

Because it's not that major of an update. iOS 7 was. It even looked different. 10.2.1 doesn't. Plus, it's BlackBerry. The media will write about what people care about and that's why BlackBerry wasn't mentioned.

Here in Toronto, 680 news is running the story every 10 min, talking about FM tuner that "even the iPhone 5s doesn't have" and BBRY stock price increase, and Apple's stock price decrease.

Im disappointed in why the American people elected Obama not only once but twice and how he is wrecking our country and the rest of the worlds economy. Stupid people!

Now for 10.2.1 its is great and more to come from BB
    That is an interesting perspective!

It is pretty sad to see no tach blogs blogging on this decently big bb10 update, when you do little articles on ios 7 fixes, or beta releases.

But as others said I'm not surprised by there actions.

We may be smarter than that, but there is that part of us that always hopes others will see the light of the goodness of BlackBerry 10 (especially with 10.2.1.1925).

It's important to not lose hope, you're right.

But you're also probably logical enough to know that most major tech blogs wrote BlackBerry 10 off shortly after it launched.

I think BlackBerry 10 should be re-reviewed now with this new OS, but I know better than to believe that will ever happen.

Rothlmfao ios 7 was garbage total garbage . There is no better word for it. Users avoided downloading it since all it would do is screw their phone or ipad. I know two people who left ios for Android because of it. Apple users pay top dollar for an outdated product. Apple does have the best marketing.

Then they shouldn't have named it 10.2.1
Why not call it 10.3? They made a major update look like a minor update.

What is it like 85% of iOS devices are on iOS 7 now? People clammered to download it. And remember the iPod Touch 4th gen (which is still quite popular) and all iPhones before the 4 can't download iOS 7 so that's a good number.

I don't think garbage is the word. How is it garbage? And how does it screw your iOS device? Real answers would be nice. Do you not like the color scheme? Is that it? Honestly, I'm not an iPhone fan but it's not garbage. It's a great OS.

And calling the iPhone outdated? Honestly, you just got less credible as you went along.

BlackBerry does not have the best reputation among the consumers, it is no surprise to me regarding the lack of coverage on the 10.2.1 update.

This other thing to consider is that the 10.2.1 leaks have been out for a while, so it is not a surprise regarding the changes that were introduced.

Why not? All you need to do is to install snap and you will have access to the android apps in Google Play.

Pay them big for front page articles!

    A. No one is going to report news on a device that no one is buying and a brand that the majority of people don't care about.

    B. Is this a serious question? You are really wondering why iOS 7 got coverage and BlackBerry 10.2.1 didn't?

    C. They updated the OS with features that should have been there at launch. This wasn't a major overhaul of BB10.

    D. BB10 had its big day and Thor put everyone to sleep at the launch show event.

Thor was terrible at keynotes. I watched the BB10 launch on youtube couple of months back and it made me cringe.
