I have an aftermarket navigation unit in my truck, I use my blackberry for pandora when I get tired of the iPod, and the way that they play a CD for satellite radio that plays the same crap every 120 minutes

I use a Tunecast FM transmitter to listen to iheartradio, NFL Mobile Live, and enhance my Sprint Navigation directions. Works nicely, but once in a while, I do get a lot of interference.

Just purchased a JVC head unit for my camaro and it is awesome. As soon as I hop in my car and fire it up the stereo turns on and the bluetooth automatically connects and immediately begins playing my tunes from my phone. I normally just hit shuffle on my phone's mp3 player and I can change the volume or songs from my phone or the head unit or the remote control for the stereo. All of my contacts have been added to the stereo so as soon as a call comes in it immediately pauses the song and rings through the car's speakers. I can answer the call by accepting it on my phone or by hitting the phone button on the stereo. Plays flawlessly through my cars speakers and the little mic that it comes with I mounted on my sun visor and people can hear me perfectly. Then when I hang up it goes right back to my music. Pandora also works perfectly. There is a USB connection in the back of the head unit and the face of the head unit. There is also an Auxillary input so I can connect it directly into the 3.5 headset jack. I love the bluetooth so I never have to connect anything but it is nice to have the option to if I need it to play and charge at the same time.

Call me an audiophile, but I tired it once and the BB output audio quality is inferior to that of the iPod.

I'd love to stream Pandora while driving -- but I have a question (obviously a newbie, here):
The headphone jack on my Tour is non-standard...my regular car cable (that I use with my ipod) won't fit it. Suggestions? Can I buy an adapter for it?
    Thanks.

I agree with this. I use the same files on both my BB and my Touch, and the Touch almost always has a better sound quality.

I do use my BB with my car stereo if I feel like Pandora-ing

Read the thread in the Tour section about its "3.5mm" jack.

I use both my storm and my ipod in my car, and I hear no difference between the musics on either device.

By golly you're RIGHT! It must've been because my Tour was new -- I initially could not my jack in, and thought it was an odd size.
This is GREAT! I listened to Pandora while I did errands at lunch. Big fun.

for god's sake don't mess up the tiny little tab just inside the opening of the jack, or you'll lose the use of the mic on the headset that came with the phone.
