Thanks, I found it. Not sure if I want to sideload it though. I wish BB could have waited a little longer to drop Flash. Too many sites still use it.

Hopefully they won't broadcast the earning call in Flash again this time around. I'm fine with them ditching Flash, but they need to work with their partners on the Webcast and tell them to use something that works on the phones they sell, OR MAKE AN APP!

Why not sideload it? It's identical to the native browser but has flash back. You get to have both browsers at the same time.

So, if I get an email with a Jacquie Lawson ecard, will my phone automatically open it in the new Browser, or do I have to make that browser the default?

Just long press on whatever link on your email and select the "open in" feature. Then select the flash browser.

So I took the plunge and followed all the instructions here and in other CB posts. I downloaded flashbrowser to my computer desktop. Then downloaded the BB 10 / PlayBook app manager. Then I installed the flashbrowser, and put yeahSo in the plugins file I created.

The new browser appears on my home screen. If I go to the Jacquie Lawson website and try to open an animated card, I get a message that I need to download Flash! This happens on the old browser and new one.

If I am on the old browser and go to "open in ", I can get to the Flashbrowser. But the website doesn't recognize it.

    Did I do something wrong?
I am doing this on my Z10 with 10.3.2.440. I am still on 10.2.1... on my Z30 and won't update till I figure this out.

This even happened on 10.3.0 on the Passport, which still had Flash. Some (or better: a lot of) websites just plain refuse to run Flash if it's an older version. Adobe apparently is no longer updating it, so whatever works now works, whatever doesn't won't ever... again!

FINALLY GOT IT!!! I don't know why yeahso would not completely download. I tried it many times. Then I rebooted the Z10 and tried again. This time it downloaded yeahSo.temp! Tried opening the website, still no flash. Tried ONCE MORE to download yeahso. This time it downloaded!!! I deleted the temp file, opened the browser, and the animated card played!! My first ever sideload!!

I hope it will work on the Z30. I might get brave enough to update it now!!

This flash browser has saved my A$$ to many times to count at work. While everyone else can't get the full websites on their iPhones, I can with this browser and the Z30. I seriously get tired of reading "Flash is Dead" on Crackberry. It isn't dead and shouldn't have been removed from the stock browser. The Stock BB10 Browser WAS the best mobile browser but now is very average.

IPhone users never had flash, so they probably don't miss it. But it's tough to take away something we like and use all the time. I agree Flash is dying, but it's not dead yet and too many important web sites still use it. I am concerned about security, but I also don't want to wait to get to a computer to view something important.

Absolutely. A ton of sites still use flash. It was a complete mistake on BlackBerrys part to remove it and everyone knows it. It's annoying seeing all the BlackBerry apologists that defend their every move telling us flash is dead. No, it definitely isn't.

The angst regarding Flash needs to be directed at Adobe. The author and owner of this tool has pulled the plug on mobile platforms. CB carries so many complaints about BlackBerry products being built with outdated specs and now all they catch is grief for having not wasted resources on the outdated Flash.

Yes, it is great that intrepid souls reach out to fill the void. I say enjoy for as long as is possible. Over time, web sites will all adapt to the reality that Flash is dead.

Adobe simply tired of trying to plug all of its vulnerabilities which is why Apple never allowed Flash in its environments.

In 10.3.2 there is no such browser setting. There is on the Flashbrowser.
