Just curious what Rim employees use at work these days, is everyone rocking a 9930? or do they give staff curves to save money.

Do you think RIM employees would be brave enough to out themselves here?

Interesting question indeed. Would love to hear there stories to.

However, I think none of them would post as they might get mobbed with hundreds, if not thousands, of PMs asking about OS 2.0 release date when they are discovered to be working with and at RIM

    Cheers

C'mon man, we won't bite ... hard. If no RIM employee responds to this, I can only assume they are using iPhones.

Question is if a RIM employee prefers Android or Apple (), would they be allowed to bring it to work as a secondary device??

I'm sure, just like Apple allows their employees to show up at their Cupertino cubicles brandishing Blackberries and Moto Razr's....

I would assume ALL models are used, if only for research, longevity, OS upgrades, ect. Someone has to give accurate reports from actual interaction with RIM products

Probably to find OS glitches, etc...

Exactly, since "bugs" are highly exaggerated and on most occasions the problems stem from user error

Edit; my guess is they do read Crackberry along with 3 million+ other users

I would really be surprised if Mr. Heins is just among us....using a very low profile username XD. Or maybe he's just lurking in the forums...

    Ughh... Creepy

I would ask this question again about a few months prior to September/November. I was once in social group outing, and one of the people there was a RIM employee sporting a Bold 9900 with an early buggy build and this was in May of 2011 . I think they let some of their employees use them to iron out the bugs. Hopefully we'll get a glimpse of BB10 this way too. Images had already leaked by this point via Crackberry many times over, but actually playing with it first hand convinced me this was the phone for me, looking at pictures alone didn't do it justice. I got it right away early August.
