Any insider info on if Blend is coming to legacy devices - Q10, Z10, Z30 ? There is official 10.3.1 OS for Passport now - I was hoping Blend's launch on legacy devices would coincide with that but alas!

It will launch right after the classic

Should be before Classic in my opinion, why make current owners of 7 other models wait for one model to be released to get an update of software ?
Force us to buy the Classic?
I for one will definitely not be buying it...

Q10, Z10 and Z30 are not legacy devices lol. They're current gen. Legacy devies are BBOS devices. 99xx and before. If you want blend on your BB10 phone, load a leak. I have Blend on my Q10.
Any news on when Blend is coming?-img_20141031_071001.png

Then tell us your secret please. Its well documented that only Passport and other white pinned devices can be "blended". Or are you otherwised informed. Somehow I don't think so unless you have the passport. We all have blend on our devices.

Its not working on your Q10. Only the Passport is using blend. What you have there is just the App for blend.

Why do people keep repeating this when it absolutely false. AT&T messed up, they made a mistake and that's completely obvious. They don't officially carry the Passport at all, so why would anyone think that AT&T pushing out an update for a device they currently don't officially carry is somehow official?

BlackBerry Blend will be made available for current generation BlackBerry 10 devices such as the Z10, Z30, Q10, etc. when OS 10.3.1 is officially released.

At the moment, BlackBerry Passport, Classic, and P'9983 owners have access to Blend - in addition to selected participants of the 10.3.X Beta Testing Programs in the BlackBerry Beta Zone.

OS 10.3.1 is expected between November 15th - December 15th.

Hopefully that clears up the confusion.

That's fine. If you don't want to don't. But sorry you're wrong. Not everyone knows how to do it. That's why in the forums there are tons of threads of people asking for a step by step instruction because they're having trouble.

    Their phone...their choice...their risk.
Some won't have any major problems, some will...and that is why there are plenty of warnings.
Plenty of threads about answers on how to do it.

They ask cause they are to lazy to take the time to read the "How to". All the Instruction are posted.

Smartass. I chose to call Q10, Z10, Z30 legacy because they are all 2013 devices and pre <10.3 OS devices. 10.3 includes a major UI refresh as well so to me pre 10.3 is legacy.

I have leak running on my Q10 and it doesn't work with Blend. I don't believe Blend works on your Q10 either - unless you are part of select (mostly internal employee) group that has whitelisted-PIN for Blend.

Pretty sure Blend is launching with 10.3.1....which, by the looks of it, is going to be December.....kinda wish it's out now, but rather wait for a version with less bugs.

10.3.1 is supposed to be out in November.
November 13th is a big announcement date.

So a Z10 with 10.2 is a legacy device, but my Z10 with a 10.3.1 developer release isn't legacy? Legacy is to do with hardware, not software. Since Blackberry has legacy devices (BBOS devices), it was just a mistake in terminology. Understand your mistake.
