at the recording studio they were using Pro Tools. I've played around with Reaper and I like it alot.

Yeah man, I use Logic and sometimes chain it to Reason. Also use a Korg M50 for extra sounds.

I "produce" my band, but nothing professional.
I used Reason, Cubase and for the "fast recording to makes try at home", i'm on Audacity.

I also rock Noodle 4 on my Q10. It's an easy 4track recorder that I always bring with me. If I find something interesting, I record with noodle 4 to remember it. It's a good app because I can overlay 4 different tracks, that's good to work a guitar solo on a riff.

Amateur producer, ewe are experimenting with tangible user interfaces, something like the reachable. I wish BlackBerry supports plunging in an external cam and tuio! Z30 would've been an amazing device to run music production!

I do fiddle around with reason 7. I have not produced anything spectacular except for some samples which I use over our Internet radio show. I did use the text to voice on the - say it- app and exported it as an mp3 with some funky results.

I use it for fun and have not used others to compare. Lots of people in the drum and bass world use it and love it but people I know use either logic or FL studio. I would love to master reason 7 but I have to many hobbies and haven't had time to sit and really learn anything complicated.

I started out with Magix Music Maker, graduated to Reason, and now am using Logic. I dig all genres and styles, but lately I've been doing mostly R&B/Smooth jazz/hip hop. Trying to get good enough to have my buddy who's in the industry use my stuff for his projects.

I do love music.. I go out and Dj here and there. But that does not take as nearly as much time to learn as it does to learn proper producing .Even if you don't use the sync button
