Between $500 and $1500 - with or without a mandatory subscription fee.
Don't forget, this is a corporate device designed for a specific application. We will only get the leftovers.
Is that what Peter Franklin told you?
I gave a 95% confidence interval range in the first part, and Franklin stated the second part in November.
I see. All I've read here is how there is no new information, no plan, no funding, no one from Onward in contact with anyone here? Thought maybe you had some secret info no one else knows about.
So Franklin said we were getting leftovers in November? Wow. Can't believe he would say such a thing.
We knew about BoA on day one (slightly insider info) back in Aug. He just happened to mention it specifically in Nov - thus confirming it.
Otherwise, no new info apart from delaying the launch from end of Q2 to sometime this year.
BTW, welcome to CrackBerry!
IMO, many, many millions of dollars more than they will make by selling it.

I think the price range is probably accurate. Do you doubt the price range Conite suggested?
The second part is Conite's interpretation of PF's statements. Peter has always said the phone is designed for the corporate security buyer. Then again he said it would be released in the first 1/2 of 2021.
Personally I have to wonder. I have worked with a lot of tech startups over the past 25 years and OM is pretty strange. First thing I check are the linked in profiles of the key employees. OM is strange. Next is looking at who is financially backing the company. In 25 years I have never seen one startup that is going to require the investment OM is going to need, not listing who is responsible for their first round financing. Especially when the company is trying to continue to raise financing. Second round investors do not jump in unless the first round investor/s have a strong track record of success.
We are almost at 8 months since the initial announcement. Since that time they have pretty much reworded the same statement, except changing the release date.
Why do you think Peter Franklin would have told conite anything?
By not saying anything since the initial press release and by what’s stated on the OM corporate website, he and OM have stated as much since the consumer isn’t officially mentioned anywhere.
A quick internet search lists Mumbai Angels as the only investor. I am curious if that is true (just one group) and how much.
Pretty sure you are confusing your companies lol

Perhaps this is wrong then. Link provided in the description is for the same group.
Yes its wrong. Look at the date, 2010. Then look at the company data. Its all wrong as OM is not a company out of India with 51-100 employees. Crunchbase is clueless. Facebook link is correct but the linkedin is not, etc. Hopefully people do more reading. OM name matches other companies, perhaps a mistep on their part considering the other companies have similar industries as well.
I had just done a quick search and didn't go through it carefully. My bad.
Good for you.....
Welcome to CrackBerry!!!! Post early and post often......
That being said..........
No way OM is going to be able to better whatever pricing the new Unihertz 2021 keyboard device will be.
Obviously.
But there is zero overlap between markets. OM is designing for enterprise where a Unihertz device is a non-starter.
pretty sure there is plenty of overlap here on CB, sure its the the market that OM is going for but they will lose sales to sales to this deivce
No doubt. But the few hundred unit sales delta is not meaningful to OM's overall chance of success.
Correct it wont make or break them, I agree
