I recently bought a curve 8310 and had my work email activated on it, so I get both personal and all my work stuff. When I try to get to an internet site, such as facebook (which is blocked at work), I can't; I get the same message I get here (even if I'm home).
At work, I can go into Internet Options, Lan Settings, and change the proxy server so I can access Facebook. (there are other sites, this is one example). Is there any way to do that on the curve 8310? Thanks.
I don't think so, you have an IT policy blocking that. There may be a way to remove the policy (someone else would have to help). Have you asked your IT to enable you to do certain things on your bb since its yours?
