Just wondering if there is any way to have a one touch data toggle for bb10. I like to switch my data off quite regularly as it really helps to save battery on the z10. Is there a way to add just data to the drop down menu or an app toggle button?

Maybe if someone made an app, just put mobile network in your quick settings, drop down from the top and click that to turn of data is the quickest I guess.

What's so wrong with Swipe from top > Connections Mobile network (the one where you see your carrier's name on) > Data Services (turn off)?

Ty blueyestm, as I use my device in PT_BR, I don't always guess the EN_EN menus right.

That's three swipes/presses. I would like to do it in one or two

    Efficiency is key.

You have to swipe up (once screen times out) anyway, then enter your security code (we know you do) ^^

    Then either
*swipe down from top and tap
    -=or=-
*tap your imaginary app (android has widgets that offer such usage)

One extra step... don't be so lazy!

PS - You could cover the antenna with tin-foil = no swipes

I use the NFC Smart tags for that purpose. I have one in the car which turns off wi-fi, turns on bluetooth and turns on the music app. Just touch the phone to it and all three actions done.
Another one on my desk in the office sets it up for work.
If you need versatility put one on something you always have with you and set it to toggle. Each touch will then toggle the data depending on present state.

Oh God. I thought it was harder to do so in an android device but it is the same damn thing.
