Hi in trying to set u wifi and it will detect me network it geneated a pin and tells me to put in into router I have netgear router how do I do that? I try to set up manually but it is wpa2 encryption and it doesn't have that as a security type when ingo to set it up

i have a d-link router. I logged in and can't for the life of me find a place to put in a pin. any help is greatly appreciated.
Step 1 : Type 192.168.0.1 into address bar
Step 2 : enter admin password
Step 3 :click on advanced on the top bar
step 4 : click wi fi protected set up on the left side
step 5 :click add wireless device with WPS at the bottom
step six : click auto
step seven : click PBC then click next
it will search for push button wireless device
now on you blackberry go to wi fi set up and to push button , do them both at the same time and wha lah wi fi is set up !
So I did push been set up it saved to network but under manage connections it said wifi on with a white dash and has my ssid as saved profile I tried resendong BB service books no luck any ideas

When I turn off Verizon network wifi has white dash when I go browse web it says thers no coverage I have my connection as a saved profile and under wifi options I says no active network but shows my wifi network as saved

You need to first see if the phone is connected to your router in your router device list, and make sure you do not have a mac filter or something similar to restrict wireless connection to your router. Whie dash means you have not successfully connected to your router.
