I was forced to switch to chrome after trying really hard to stay with Firefox. I still keep it installed and updated and I will switch back to Firefox if its recent releases are half decent.
Not so sure about the phone though. I don't see why followers for the browser will necessarily like the phone. It is a different business.

For what it is worth, Telefonica essentially made their own CDMA phone for years. It was not a good device, but the price fit into their subsidy plan, and they pushed it hard for years. Would not surprise me to see them do the same, when you have a $10 ARPU market, you need cheap.

I love the Firefox browser much more than the chrome on but the Chrome browser is at least stable...if this is anything like the browser it will crash if you open more than one app or page tab....
